Every dog deserves a day full of joy, adventure, and friendship. At Tailz Doggy Daycare, tails are wagging from the moment they arrive as pups explore a safe, engaging environment designed for fun and discovery. Whether they’re romping with friends, navigating playful obstacle courses, or enjoying quiet sniff-and-discover moments, every activity encourages curiosity and confidence. Our team uses gentle guidance and positive reinforcement to make sure each dog feels comfortable trying new things while celebrating their unique personality. Buffy
If my dog Buffy could write a review, she’d probably give Tailz a thousand stars! 🐾 Every time we say “Tailz,” she runs to the door, ready for her favorite day ever. The team at Tailz is absolutely amazing—so warm, caring, and truly passionate about what they do. They treat Buffy like one of their own, and I love getting the updates and photos of her having the time of her life.

Tailz is a great place for doggy daycare, the front staff are very welcoming and the staff in daycare take good care of the furry clients.
They have a variety of available services other than daycare. Great staff, great facility.

Henry
I’m grateful for the attentive care my dog receives at his daycare. They’re calm and patient with his high energy, and were supportive when he first started at just 1 year old—helping him gradually integrate through supervised socialization. Now at 4, daycare is one of his safe spaces. He has tried 2 other daycares for their amenities and training and Tailz is the best fit for us.

My dog loves going to Tailz! He's always tuckered out after a day there, so I know he's having fun and being kept busy and entertained. The staff is always so friendly as well, and they recognize my little guy immediately when we walk in. I also love how they post Instagram stories throughout the day, so I can see my little dude when I'm away from him. And they do adorable photoshoots for holidays! This is one of my dog from last Valentine's Day. I highly recommend this place for dog daycare!

Rumi
Our now 18 month old dog Rumi has been attending Tailz regularly for over a year now. We would find life very difficult if we didn’t have this safe, welcoming and fun filled place for her to run and play regularly. She is always bursting with joy when we get close to Tailz as she can’t wait to get inside and see her ‘friends’; both furry and not.

Norman
I’ve been taking my dog Norman to Tailz for a few months now and he’s always so excited to go. This place is great for energetic dogs, he always comes home tired and naps for a few hours. Would definitely recommend.
Doggy Daycare FAQ
Got questions? We’ve rounded up some of the ones we hear most often from our Tailz families!
WHAT IS A MEET & GREET?
Tailz Meet & Greets are a one-hour session where we get to know your pup’s personality, play style, and assess their comfort and interactions with their new furiends, body handling, cues, and crates. Registration is required, and up-to-date vaccinations must be provided before we can meet your furry friend. By the end of the evaluation, you’ll receive a personalized summary with how your dog did, their suitability based upon the factors we observed, and any tips or recommendations to make their Tailz experience safe, happy, and full of fun.
Meet & Greets are $20.
ACTIVE STATUS
To keep tails wagging safely, all dogs must maintain an active status attending doggy within the past six months. If it’s been a while, no worries—a reintroduction Meet & Greet will get them back in the swing of things!
Reintroduction Meet & Greets are $10.PUPPIES ARE AWESOME!
Puppies have unique needs as they learn about and explore the world around them—full of curiosity, energy, and a desire for connection. Starting them off on the right paw with doggy daycare helps nurture their growth through socialization, safe play, and gentle guidance. In a structured, supervised environment, they build confidence, learn healthy play habits, and gain comfort around new sights and sounds.
To take their learning even further, enrolling in puppy preschool adds focused training on basic skills, manners, and confidence-building—setting the foundation for a happy, well-adjusted adult dog both at daycare and at home.
TAILZ DAYCARE PROGRAMS
Daycare programs are structured play and enrichment experiences designed to give dogs the extra boost they need in guidance and training.
✨ PUPPY PRESCHOOL
Puppy Preschool at Tailz gives your puppy the best start on the right paw! Over 4 weeks we provide structured training sessions, where your puppy enjoys early socialization, safe play, and guided learning while building confidence and healthy habits. Our Puppy Preschool Program also focuses on desensitization to grooming, unusual sounds, and unfamiliar objects, helping your puppy feel calm and confident in any situation. The program also includes a complimentary mini groom in the last week of the 4 week program. Plus, the $2 lunch fee is included, so every session is fun, safe, and stress-free for both puppy and owner.
It is an immersive experience with the strongest outcome as our pups enrolled in our Puppy Preschool Program attend every weekday. Addictive? Perhaps, which is why we have the option to extend enrollment for an additional 2 weeks (6 weeks total.)
Report Cards and Training Handouts are provided regularly, and discussions with your Tailz Trainer will happen either on the phone or in person on a weekly basis✨ PUPPY PLUS
Perfect for pups and families on the go! Our Puppy Plus Program is the flexible way to build skills and confidence through training and daycare! Designed for 2–3 days a week attendance, it blends daycare fun with focused training for busy schedules.
✨ JUNIOR VARSITY
Tailz’s Junior Varsity program turns teenage energy into positive growth. Through engaging play, social skill building, and real‑world training, pups gain confidence, focus, and good manners. It’s an enriching, fun-filled environment where every dog thrives alongside friends their own age.
Adolescent dogs aged 6-24 months who have regressed in their training, become more challenging to handle, or seem to have their listening ears turned off are well suited for the Junior Varsity Program.
WHY WE ASK YOU TO PRE-BOOK & KEEP A ROUTINE
Dogs thrive on routine—and we love helping them do just that! Pre-booking your daycare dates and keeping a regular schedule (at least once a week) helps your pup feel secure, confident, and excited to come play.
-
Comfort & Confidence – Familiar faces and predictable playdays help your dog settle in and feel at home.
-
Better Play & Socialization – Regular visits mean stronger friendships and better play manners.
-
Smooth Planning – Pre-booking helps us create balanced playgroups and make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve.
Keeping a steady schedule turns daycare into something your pup looks forward to—consistently happy, comfortable, and ready for fun every time they visit!

WHAT IS A DAY OF DAYCARE LIKE?
Every day is different with different dogs to interact with. All dogs will have structure to their day, however, we have options to add extra enrichments including walks (training or group walks,) treats, lick matts, snuffle matts, stuffed kongs, or our scent room. These are a great way to break up their day and stimulate their mind in another way!
With ample room to romp and play with other dogs inside or outside, we separate dogs by their energy. Typically smaller dogs play with dogs their size, however if a pup is a more intense player, we will assess their play style to pair them into the appropriately matched room.
HOW ARE DOGS SEPARATED?
We organize dogs into play groups based on their energy levels and play styles. By doing this, we can create balanced and harmonious groups where dogs can have fun, socialize, and burn off energy safely. Our Canine Coaches carefully monitor each group to make sure play stays positive, interactions are fair, and all dogs feel comfortable. This approach helps prevent overstimulation or conflict and ensures that every pup can enjoy their day to the fullest, whether they’re high-energy players or more laid-back companions.
WHAT ABOUT LUNCH?
Not all dogs are fed lunch, particularly with adult dogs, however puppies or very active dogs may require an additional meal time or snack through the day. For those pet parents who chose to bring a lunch or goodie, we ask for the container or sealed bag to be labeled with their pet's name and breed on it.
There is a nominal $2.00 fee for serving lunch or goodies - whether or not your dog chooses to eat or not. We will provide you any remaining amounts that they did not eat.
If you have forgotten food, we have our house food (chicken base) that can be purchased for a $5.00 fee (lunch fee included.)
Alternatively, we have our handcrafted treat of the week available for only $3.00!
WHAT IS ENRICHMENT?
Dogs can get additional mental and physical stimulation through fun, engaging activities that challenge their minds, build confidence, and make daycare even more rewarding.

PLAYTIME & BEHAVIOUR IN DAYCARE
Our goal is simple: fun, safe, and happy play for every pup!
Our Canine Coaches are always on the floor, keeping an eye on play and making sure every dog has a safe, happy experience. They step in to redirect rough play, give breaks when needed, and encourage good manners.
We love seeing dogs play loose, bouncy, and friendly — tails wagging, happy interactions all around. Sometimes dogs get overwhelmed or show behaviors like snapping, lunging, or guarding. When that happens, we step in and work with the dog to help them settle.
If a dog continues to struggle in daycare, we’ll chat with the pet parent about next steps and may recommend a program, or in rare cases, ask them to take a break from daycare to keep everyone safe.
CAN MY DOG STAY OVERNIGHT?
Yes, of course! Approved daycare dogs can sleepover at Tailz, so we know your pup is ready for overnight stays! Boarding here isn’t just sleep—it’s play, enrichment, and cozy nights in a safe space with supervised play. Your dog will enjoy daytime adventures, cuddle-worthy downtime, and all the attention from our Canine Coaches. With Tailz, overnight stays are fun, comfy, and full of tail wags!
